Herra Construction was built from years of hands-on experience, mentorship, and a genuine passion for building homes the right way.

Founder Michael Herrera began his construction career working under the mentorship of an experienced South Florida contractor for four years, gaining firsthand knowledge across residential construction, remodeling, plumbing, and the day-to-day realities of managing successful projects. That foundation eventually led to two years working as a site supervisor, where he developed experience coordinating trades, managing jobsite operations, maintaining quality standards, and keeping projects moving efficiently.

Looking to take his experience to the next level, Michael took on the challenge of building a custom home from the ground up in North Carolina. Managing the construction process from start to finish provided invaluable experience and became the catalyst for his move into custom home building and, ultimately, the creation of Herra Construction.

Today, Michael brings 8 years of personal construction experience to every project. Through Herra Construction's team and trusted network of tradesmen and industry professionals, that experience is backed by decades of combined construction knowledge and longstanding relationships with skilled South Florida subcontractors and craftsmen.
